Bowmore Small Batch Reserve showcases the lighter, sweeter, and more approachable side of Islay’s oldest licensed distillery. Matured exclusively in a marriage of first- and second-fill ex-bourbon American oak casks, this expression artfully balances distinct flavor profiles. First-fill casks impart luscious vanilla sweetness, coconut accents, and warm spice, while second-fill barrels accentuate Bowmore’s signature creamy malt character, fresh orchard fruit, and gentle maritime peat smoke. It serves as an exceptional gateway single malt for everyday sipping and elegant social hosting across Nairobi.

Bottled at 40% ABV, Bowmore Small Batch pours with a warm, glowing golden hue. It greets the nose with a clean and inviting bouquet of sweet vanilla fudge, crisp sea air, gentle peat smoke, and a subtle dusting of cinnamon spice. On the palate, it is smooth and inviting, unfolding cascading layers of mouth-watering citrus zest, vanilla cream, sweet coconut flakes, and a delicate touch of salt. Concluding in a warm, wispy finish defined by lingering smoke and bourbon vanilla, this approachable Islay malt is built for vibrant home bars and rapid delivery across Nairobi.
