The Black Grouse Alpha Edition is the bold, moody, and deeply satisfying sibling to Scotland's favorite blend. Originally crafted to offer a richer, more intensely peated profile, this expression ramps up the concentration of heavily peated Islay single malts while keeping the legendary Famous Grouse core foundation of distinguished malts like Highland Park, Macallan, and Glenturret. Delivering a masterclass in balance, it merges robust earth-and-charcoal smoke with luscious sweet toffee and dark chocolate, making it an absolute favorite for cool Nairobi nights and pairing seamlessly with grilled meats.

Bottled at 40% ABV, The Black Grouse Alpha pours with a deep russet-gold hue. It greets the nose with an inviting and aromatic bouquet of earthy peat smoke reminiscent of a forest after rain, sweet honey, orange peel, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is wonderfully smooth, oily, and rich, unfolding cascading layers of salted caramel, vanilla cream, dark fruits, and warm baking spices. Concluding in a long, warming finish marked by dark chocolate and a dry curl of smoke, this distinctive blend is built for home bars and rapid delivery across Nairobi.
